Hair Density vs. Hair Thickness – LUS Brands
credits: lusbrands.com

Density refers to how much hair you have on your scalp, the number of individual strands. You can have thin hair and have different density.

Thin: You can easily see the scalp, specially from the middle of the head and edges.

Medium: You can see partially the scalp, perhaps only on the middle of the hair but a small part.

Thick: it’s very hard to see the scalp of someone who has thick density.

Did you know?

The average person has approximately 2,200 strands of hair per square inch on their head ( crazy, right? ) The average person also sheds between 50 and 100 hairs per day so shedding is normal.
